4. Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

A. Education Qualification
- Forest Guard: You just need to be 10th Pass from any recognized board. You should also know basic Hindi and Rajasthan’s culture.
- Forester (Vanpal): You must be 12th Pass. Also, it is compulsory that you have cleared the Rajasthan CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2024 exam.
- Surveyor: You must be 12th pass and hold an ITI Certificate in Civil Survey OR a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
B. Age Limit (As of 1 January 2027)
- Forest Guard: Your age must be between 18 to 24 Years.
- Forester & Surveyor: Your age must be between 18 to 40 Years.
- Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates of Rajasthan will get extra years in the upper age limit as per state rules (5 to 10 years).
5. Selection Process (How to get the job)
To get this government job, you have to pass 4 simple stages:

Forest Guards have to walk a lot in the jungle. So, your physical fitness must be good.
A. Height and Chest
- General/OBC/SC Men: Minimum height 163 cm. Chest should be 84 cm (with 5 cm expansion).
- ST Men: Minimum height 153 cm.
- All Women: Minimum height 150 cm (145 cm for ST women).
B. Physical Efficiency Test (Walking and Sports)
- For Men: You have to complete a 25 km Walk in 4 Hours. You also need to do 25 sit-ups in 1 minute and throw a cricket ball up to 55 meters.
- For Women: You have to complete a 16 km Walk in 4 Hours. You also need to do a standing broad jump and throw a 4 kg shot put ball.
9. Salary Details
